as we write a lot about food in our blog, we decided that it would be a great idea to clarify food groups, as they play a major role in food combining and building right eating habits.
There are 5 major Food groups:
- Proteins (Meat, Dairy, Eggs, Beans & Nuts)
- Carbohydrates (Starches, Fruits & Sugar)
- Fruits (Acid Fruits & Sweet Fruits)
- Fats (Animal & Vegetable)
- Vegetables (Non-Starchy & Mildly Starchy).
